Conservation Laboratory has been founded with an aim to perform material research and analysis for fine art conservators-restorers, museums’ employees, art collectors and designers.
Our work fits into the dynamically developing field of Conservation Science.

We own our success to the interdisciplinary team of specialists and the collaboration between art conservators-restorers, art historians, chemists, biologists, geologists and engineers working in specialist laboratories around the world.

Research process step by step:

RESEARCH IS DESIGNED RESEARCH

SAMPLES ARE COLLECTEDSAMPLES

SAMPLES ARE ANALYSEDSAMPLES

RESEARCH REPORTRESEARCH
REPORT

The first stage always involves preparing research plan so that with as few as possible “test windows” and samples collected we are able to answer the question that has been asked.

Our analyses help to understand the technique used to create a  work of art, familiarise with its history, its colour scheme and architectural design shifts and enable to date and authenticate it.

Under the preventive conservation we also monitor the state of preservation of art objects and evaluate the environment in which they are displayed.
